Irene van der Laan is my name and I was born in Dordrecht, the Netherlands in 1981.
I started drawing as soon as I was able to hold a pencil. Now I paint as well.
2 years ago I started studying Art Therapie. This study combines my passion for art and helping people.
Nature, people, thoughts, music and emotions are a beautiful and endless source of inspiration for me to experiment with. My paintings are like daydreams, colourful, an ever changing visualisation of what goes on in my head. I loves working with all kinds of materials, but I prefer blacklight paint, acrylics and ink.
